About
I love solving problems with creativity by getting to know audiences and translating their needs into visual solutions. One of my favourite parts of creating a design is getting to dive into different subjects to learn about various audiences and products.
My past experience at tech companies put me in the habit of approaching my work with agile principles. I’ve always loved the world of the internet and software products, so I was excited to design how information would look and to map out how people would navigate my companies’ projects in the digital world.
Living and working around the world has not only allowed me to see diverse kinds of design and art, but has also allowed me to get to know how different people and systems work, which gives me the experience to approach problems from different angles. Working extensively with children has helped me to see the world creatively and honestly, and has taught me the importance of adding elements of joy and fun into projects.
From these experiences, I’ve learned that building my designs with good craft is the base of all my work, the beauty of a project comes from the subtle details. Typography can make or break a design and is the most important element of my work, I enjoy learning about how typography is treated in different languages/writing systems and how it affects their editorial designs. I love learning new software and features on various programs, these are my design tools and it is important to me to continuously build my expertise and use these tools effectively. I enjoy planning how to set up my files in the most efficient way possible.
My current work in the real estate development industry has allowed me to create large-scale maps, way finding, and branding to help guide audiences through new spaces. It is also gives me the opportunity to learn more about marketing and apply my skills to digital ad and social media content creation by managing multiple social media accounts and executing video shoots.
